Guides for Field Trials

Field Trials

Browse the guidesField Trials

Field Trials follows a seed trial from setup to harvest review. An agronomist sets up a trial from a trial type and one of its variants; seed bags are drawn from stock, in part if stock is short. At harvest the agronomist records bags used and tonnage, and the yield per hectare is worked out. If fewer than 70% of the bags issued were used, an incident is raised and the incident team is asked for written assessments before the trial closes, flagged.
