Quotes is for quoting work and knowing what came of it. A quote is priced from its lines with VAT, signed off by a sales manager when it is at or above the value your organisation sets, and sent by the person who raised it. That person records what the client said, and why, when it was lost. The Overview counts lost quotes by reason. An accepted quote becomes an order, and a project as well if your organisation has Projects.

A quote can carry drawings, specifications and site photos. The sales manager sees them at sign-off, and they cannot be changed afterwards.

Your clients do not sign in to Koldheim. Unless your organisation turns on The client accepts or declines the quote themselves under Manage > Settings, Koldheim does not send a quote to the client; whoever raised it sends it.
